TRIBUTE TO A GREAT MAN-Michael Lesseur

Born in 1937, Michael had completed his secondary studies at the Lasallian College of the Francs-Bourgeois in Paris, France, he continued his studies at Sciences Po and then a doctorate in economics and pursued a professional career in banking.

At the same time, he served the alumni of Catholic education for more than 30 years:
During these same years, from 1971 to 1976, he was elected President of the French Federation of Former Students of the Brothers of the Christian Schools.

He was President of COFAEC from 1986 to 1992.

As President of COFAEC, Michel took part in the Executive Committee meetings and the OMAEC congresses from 1986 onwards, and was elected President of OMAEC in Venice, Italy, in 1992, and presided over him until 1998.

Beyond his family, his professional activities and his involvement with alumni, he wrote numerous articles on the municipality in the municipal bulletin from 1986 onwards, as well as several books on his history. He founded and chaired the Association of Friends of the Church of Bourth (France).
