On Saturday, October 11, Alfonso Giraldo Saavedra, President of OMAEC, met virtually with María Isabel Pichardo Valdez, our correspondent in the Dominican Republic; Guillermo Gutiérrez Piraquive, Secretary General of OMAEC; Carlos Zea Montoya, our correspondent in Ecuador; Evangelina García Richard, Vice President of UNAEC-America; and Santiago Durini, Secretary of UNAEC-America. After an intense discussion, important guidelines for the founding of the Dominican or Antillean Confederation of Former Students of Catholic Education and the possibility of holding the 16th World Congress of OMAEC were clarified.
