What are the objectives of a
National Alumni Association ?

Why an Alumni Association?

To help your institution (or others that you have closed) to continue its educational work:

  • Financial assistance, experience and expertise (management, taxation, legal, real estate), educational assistance (catechesis, supervision of pedagogical, cultural and sports activities), assistance for entering active life (professional orientation, internships, jobs), assistance for the celebration of the school, for charitable activities…
  • Commitment within the educational community to assume, together with other stakeholders (management, teachers, parents), the responsibility of defining and implementing the center’s educational project;
  • As a “memory of the school”, the association contributes to perpetuate its spirit; it does not cultivate nostalgia for the past, but, on the contrary, facilitates its openness to the future.

B. To extend the friendship, develop solidarity and the human and spiritual formation of the alumni of the school, especially of
the younger ones:

  • Assembly, newsletter, directory, web page, promotional meetings, information service, and
    employment;
  • Conferences, anniversary masses, pilgrimages, convocation prayers;
  • Financial support for humanitarian, charitable, and cultural projects of former
    students.

C. To bring together the alumni of the different establishments to promote the global educational project of Catholic education, its evolution, its innovation, as well as its diocesan dimension or the project of the congregational tradition:

  • Participation in the national, regional and diocesan
    Catholic Education, in the meetings of the Congregation, in the congresses
    national and international;
  • Actions in defense of free schools and Catholic education.

D. Conveying the message and its values in a multicultural society:

  • Take positions and mobilize on current issues related to the
    education, family, ethics, faith, Church, social doctrine, with reference to
    of the ministry and of the bishops.

With many people who share the same beliefs, we can do more than we can do alone.
