February 2025 – The second OMAEC Diploma Program begins through an agreement with the Catholic participants from Spain, Colombia, Argentina, the Dominican Republic, and Venezuela participated. The Diploma Program concludes on May 24 University of Santa Fe, Argentina.

November 2024 – The World Union of Lasallian Past Pupils (UMAEL) invites OMAEC to its Congress to be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina. OMAEC’s Vice President, Evangelina García Richard, featured a presentation on “The Importance of the Alumni and the Catholic Congregations”.
November 2024 – President Alfonso Giraldo Saavedra participated, invited by the Jesuit Alumni of Hungary, in an interesting meeting with other presidents of World Unions held in Rome. They held an important conversation with Hervé Lecomte, General Secretary of the OIEC, the International Office of Catholic Education
March- 2024 – With the presence of Vice President Evangelina García Richard, OMAEC participates in the Meeting of Jesuit Alumni of Latin America and the Caribbean (UASIALAC) in Montevideo, Uruguay. Verónica Nieves Vera, a correspondent for Uruguay at OMAEC, is also appointed.
