I am pleased to share with you, attached, the statement adopted on the occasion of the Autumn 2025 Session of the Conference of INGOs of the Council of Europe.
This text expresses the Committee’s concern regarding the growing tendencies of democratic regression observed in Europe and the increasing instrumentalisation of migration, which undermines the fundamental rights of people on the move as well as the work of civil-society organisations.
