On Saturday, August 30, 2025, Alfonso Giraldo Saavedra, President of the World Organization of Alumni of Catholic Education (OMAEC), met virtually with the work team consisting of: Federica Rossi Germani, Advisor to the Congregations; Marco Russo, Delegate to the Holy See; Geovanny Duffer, Delegate to the UN; Virginia González, Director of the Communications Department; Alejandro Galván Illanes, Legal Advisor; Alexander Silva León, Director of the Department of Continuing Education; and Guillermo Igreda Quintana, Director of the Department of Solidarity and Social Justice. Also in attendance were Evangelina García Richard, Vice President (President of UNAEC-America), and Guillermo Gutiérrez Piraquive, Secretary General.
This meeting took place from 9:00 a.m. (Colombia-Panamá-Perú) – 11:00 a.m. (Argentina) – 8:00 a.m. (México) – 4:00 p.m. (Italy) – 5:00 p.m. (Greece). The meeting was held to evaluate the activities of each Delegation or Directorate, explore proposals in each area, and determine upcoming activities for 2025-2026.
