Convoy 77 is the last large convoy that left Drancy on July 31, 1944 to Auschwitz carrying to the death camp 1310 men, women and children. The people who were in this convoy came from 33 different European countries, even if the most numerous of them were French, and in a smaller number, Poles.<a href=\"http:\/\/omaec.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/auswitch-e1539636049231.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-4217\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-4217 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/omaec.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/auswitch-e1539636049231-300x201.jpg\" alt=\"auswitch-e1539636049231\" width=\"300\" height=\"201\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.omaec.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/auswitch-e1539636049231-300x201.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.omaec.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/auswitch-e1539636049231-600x402.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.omaec.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/auswitch-e1539636049231-150x101.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.omaec.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/auswitch-e1539636049231.jpg 700w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" align=\"justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">The project aims to encourage schools to take up this issue, by inviting them to concretely produce a biography of one of the people present in this convoy, if possible a person who was born and lived in the same country, the same region or the same city as the school.
