{"id":4172,"date":"2019-02-24T09:12:48","date_gmt":"2019-02-24T08:12:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/omaec.org\/?p=4172"},"modified":"2019-02-24T09:12:48","modified_gmt":"2019-02-24T08:12:48","slug":"movement-for-the-defence-of-life-italy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.omaec.org\/en\/movement-for-the-defence-of-life-italy\/","title":{"rendered":"MOVEMENT FOR THE DEFENCE OF LIFE &#8211; ITALY"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"western\" align=\"justify\"><span lang=\"en-US\"><b>We are glad that the former students are involved in the different fields of action of the Church&#8230;defense of Life, Caritas and all kinds of social and humanitarian actions; this is the real strength of the OMAEC.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" align=\"justify\"><strong>PAOLA MANCINI TESTIMONY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">I have been working for the Movement for Life in Italy since 1985, when I started in Catholic and other faith schools in Campania, to teach sex education courses to students, catechists in parishes and engaged couples in pre-marital courses.<a href=\"http:\/\/omaec.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/FRANCISCO.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-4168\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-4168 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/omaec.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/FRANCISCO-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"FRANCISCO\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.omaec.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/FRANCISCO-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.omaec.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/FRANCISCO-150x113.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.omaec.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/FRANCISCO.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">By the same time, I commenced to work in the CAV of Naples (Life Support Centre) of the Movement for Life (there are currently 700 Centres in Italy) with the idea of being able to save as many children as possible from abortion {from 1978 to today in Italy, <em><strong>200,000 children have been saved from abortion and 600,000 pregnant women have been helped}.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">I am personally in contact with the pro-life movements in South America and in all the European countries that are trying to establish a network by organizing the marches for Life. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">I could write you many more things we do to defend life, but maybe later. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" align=\"justify\">Paola Mancini, former president of the OMAEC<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" align=\"justify\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are glad that the former students are involved in the different fields of action of the Church&#8230;defense of Life, Caritas and all kinds of social and humanitarian actions; this is the real strength of the OMAEC.
