WHO ARE WE?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bolivia Digna Foundation<\/strong>, is a non-governmental organization founded in 2006 at Cochabamba, Bolivia by\u00a0 La Salle Alumni, with the aims of promote and defend the rights of children\u2019s, adolescents, young people, elderly and social strata living in exclusion and poverty conditions.\"logo<\/a><\/p>\n

OUR VISION<\/strong><\/p>\n

People living in situations of exclusion and poverty (particularly childhood) whom do not enjoy adequate living conditions (spiritual, material, health, social) and do not have the opportunity of fully exercise their rights.<\/p>\n

OUR MISSION<\/strong><\/p>\n

To improve the living conditions and opportunities for people living in situations of vulenrability, particularly childhood and adolescence, through the promotion of Christian faith and values and educational programs, small enterprises and social assistance.<\/p>\n

BACKGROUND
\n<\/strong>Since 2007, we have developed projects in: Social Assistance, Prevention-Protection-Advocacy Strategies for Child Victims of Violence, Human Rights Education and Responsibilities, Leadership, Organization and Values.<\/p>\n

Since January 2015, Bolivia Digna Foundation implemented the Volunteer Program with the objective of consolidate a culture of volunteering and making the Service a lifestyle. More than 150 national volunteers and about 100 international volunteers from different countries (England, Ireland, Spain, Germany, France, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Lithuania, Taiwan, Australia, United States, Brazil, M\u00e9xico) had taken part in this Program. \u00a0Participation period vary from one month to more than one year.<\/p>\n

PEOPLE BENEFITED<\/strong><\/p>\n

In order to serve childhood and adolescents, in partnership with La Salle Bolivia we have been working in four neighborhoods with poverty conditions.<\/p>\n

In these neighborhoods the vast majority of children spend much of their time alone in their houses or in the care of the older brother or theyselves caring for younger siblings. They also spend a lot of time on the streets. This situation puts their health, integrity, development in risk and even they could be victims of violence and ill-treatment or human trafficking.\"VOLUNTARIOS<\/a><\/p>\n

The projects directly benefit more than 250 infants, children and adolescents and indirectly an average of 150 families.<\/p>\n

In the neighborhoods Bolivia Digna Foundation have been implemented the following projects: Preschool Education (Games Room), School Support, English Speaking, Soccer School, Art Projects (Music, Theater, Dance, etc.), Nutritious Food, Cleaning and personal grooming.<\/p>\n

HOW ARE THE PROJECTS FINANCED?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Projects are funded and supported by volunteer work, only 20% of the budget is used \u00a0for staff salaries.<\/p>\n

Therefore, your contribution is fundamental to give sustainability to the projects.\u00a0 This funds would be use to buy materials and equipment for the projects, feeding of beneficiaries and transportation of the volunteers.<\/p>\n
